Crazy Horse Saloon

An historic building houses this was-elegant eatery with just a few taps but about 70 interesting bottled beers. Two rooms with two entrances - the restaurant side is suitable for all ages, the bar side is 21+ only.

Around the World in 80 Beers: drink all 80 of their selections in 6 months to get a t-shirt and your name on the wall.

Food includes Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees after 5pm. Banquet facilities for up to 100. Decent wine list. Daily lunch specials.

No non-smoking area.

The Irish Lion

212 W. Kirkwood
812-336-9076
1/2 block west of the county courthouse. Next door to the Crazy Horse.
Opens 11am - 3am (midnight on Sundays).

We've included The Irish Lion not for its beer selection, which is very average, but for its collection of over 50 Single Malt Scotches and 11 Irish Malts.

The food consistently rates The Irish Lion as one of the best restaurants in Bloomington and, indeed, in Indiana. Entrees from $12 to $16. Pub grub at around $6 is available after 10pm. Banquet room available.
