The small bar up front seats 9 and the restaurant in back could be dropped into Chicago or New York City except that it is much newer and cleaner than any such we've seen.6 taps have an always changing lineup. There's always one or more from New Albanian, Bluegrass Brewing, and usually a Bells. Mundane beers are reserved for the bottle collection although there are also interesting offerings such as Stone's. Chris chooses his beer lineup carefully and is a true beer guy. Most beers are $4.25 per pint. There's many similarities to a British pub in that Chris functions as a full-time landlord and is always on-site. One small TV is turned silently on for games but doesn't interfere with the subdued Jazz from Chris's CD collection. Also, it's a full-smoking establishment.

South of I-265 on Grant Line Rd. then east at Kroger's. Go past RichO's / Sportstime Pizza and past Jack's Billiards to the next strip mall.
Plenty of mainstream beers and a growing but still small list of good micros. The Main Menu is mainly a sports bar with music on the weekends. Very good food and inexpensive food including many entrees in the $10 range. A large range of sandwiches run from $6 to $7 with a choice of side. Lunch specials daily ($5.50 including drink and side)

Three miles west of I-265 from the State Street exit west of New Albany. Just go up the hill and continue to the top.
Owners: Guy and Joni Sillings
Manager: Chuck Ziepolt
An excellent restaurant with a small beer selection that includes 4 taps and several bottles (including items such as Upland, Rogue, and Pilsner Urquell). The patio and bar area are 21+ and smoking areas. No dress code.
On the site of a small 1800s limestone quarry, it is built in a 4-room cottage. The decor includes original rocks and the roofed outdoor patio is ringed by a quarry wall.
