Sour, Wild, Funk Fest 17 is Saturday, April 1 – and NO April fool joke there! Over 40 breweries will provide pucker power from 3-7 p.m. at the Marvis Arts and Events Center, 121 S. East Street only 2 minutes from downtown Indy and a block south of Washington Street. www.uplandsourfest.com for last minute tickets! This is always a great place to focus on many types of puckering beers from the mild to extreme.
One of my favorite festivals in Indiana is the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival held at the Woolery Mill just south of the town and directly off of Highway 37. The smaller partly covered historic venue allowing 50+ breweries to be shaded or covered but still enjoy the typical 55-65 degree spring weather is nearly perfect. Tickets usually sell out so check out bloomingtonbeerfest.com to grab your tix! This event is 2-6 p.m (if early bird are still available it starts at 1 p.m.)
We’ve been gathering a list of great fests so check back often
