Assistant Brewer: Sean McKinley

Their philosophy: "Back Road Brewery will produce nothing less than mind numbing award winning beer styles and put them in plain packaging. We will put them in crazy places so it is really hard for you to find. We probably won't advertise or even try to market effectively. So don't expect it. Are you buying beer or packaging or what?"

Prices:
6-Packs: $9
Party Pigs: $30
Growler: $10, $8 refill
Some seasonals are higher.

  ABV
Back Road Ale Their signature beer. Well balanced English pale ale with dry hopping for added aroma. - A bit of orange with American hops aplenty. Clean and crisp.   5.3%
Belle Gunness Stout Plenty of toasty, roasty, coffee, chocolate, etc. A dry stout of the Irish style. Not a Guinness clone. Named after a local mass murderer.   4%
Millennium Lager Lagered German-style beer with Noble hops. "Harkens back to a time when things were slower." - Clean all-malt mainstream lager. A little sweet and bolder color than BudMillerCoors. 5%
No 9. Barley Wine - Like many fresh, super strong beers, it could stand some laying down to marry the tastes.
American IPA Hops. Hops. American IPA with grapefruit northwest hops. Tongue numbing.   6.3%
Midwest IPA "Our IPA (Indiana Pale Ale) has enough hops to float a battleship. Let the resiny grapefruit-like hop flavor and aroma stimulate the senses and smack your buds. This beer style is extremely high in hop flavor and aroma, not to mention alcohol."   6.3%
Christmas Ale (2003) A completely opaque porter. Nice and quaffable but alcoholic. Our favorite. Available November through January. 6.3%
