Part of a 30-brewpub chain. A main floor large dining room and bar with a lower floor party room containing 5 pool tables. Large screen TVs. Decoration is very pleasant prairie style.

The Rock Bottom is the second largest brewpub chain in the country after (shudder) Hops. Part of a 4-pub 4-block walking crawl with the Alcatraz, RAM, and BW3.

Thursday is Big Ass Beer. Karaoke at 10pm.

Pool tables are free until 5pm.

Mug Club

Free. Larger mug at pint price, brewer's dinners, beer tappings. After 10 visits you get a glass, 35 a tee-shirt, 50 a jacket, etc.

 

Suitability factors:

Sitting at the bar Busy. Go downstairs for a quieter bar.
On a date Classy place. You can eat without being TV bombarded. Close to IRT, Circle Theatre.
Out with the guys Pool tables downstairs. Stop in after work.
Business dinner Atmosphere shows taste.
