Big Red, founded in 1972, it has grown to be the largest retailer in Southern Indiana. The big Bloomington store has over 800 titles - the pictures to the right are of this store. Bloomington - there are 8 Big Reds in Bloomington but one is a supermarket: 11 interesting doors in the cooler. 2 long aisles of warm imports and micros.
Terre Haute - of the 3 locations in town, the one at on 3rd St is the biggest but still isn't a stellar selection.
Bedford - A slightly smaller store
Columbus - A well stocked store easily found off Interstate 65.

400 plus beers and ales from around the world plus a very large selection of American craft beer including beers from Indiana. From the Sahara Mart website - "Sahara Mart is a family owned and operated grocery with products ranging from the exotic to the ordinary. Opening in 1986, it has grown from a tiny store at the intersection of two alleys, to it's current location at Second and Walnut, which has already expanded twice. And now, construction has begun on a new eastside location across from Eastland Plaza. This continuous growth is due to one factor: satisfied customers. Sahara Mart actively seeks out the finest products, which are both good for you, and good for the environment. Whether you're looking for a hard-to-find ethnic food, fresh locally grown produce, or something as mundane as a roll of paper towels, we believe you'll be pleased with what you find at Sahara Mart."
